Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Decent place to have some goose and pork. I got the combination of a Orange Peel Roasted Goose and Char Siu with Rice. Everything tasted decent."
"The 5 stars is given solely and only to the roasted pork. The roasted pork deserved everything The goose was okay, a little hard but I can taste the herbs in the sauce. The noodle was also okay, nothing special But the roasted pork? It was everything. SUPER crispy skin that caused ASMR every bite, and the meat was tender and not that fat. Absolutely delicious."
"Came after2.30pm had a set of mini size rice with bbq served with hot coffee or tea Roasted Goose chopped with bone , tasty not too oily , hot rice is so good. Hot lemon tea no sugar , can add by yourself. Good service . Cash"
"Yung’s Goose – Honest Review Tried their roast goose with tangerine peel—first time having it prepared this way, and it really stands out. The skin was beautifully crispy with a subtle hint of citrus sweetness from the tangerine. A refreshing twist compared to the usual roast goose. As for the BBQ pork, they advertise it as lemongrass black pepper char siu, but I couldn’t taste much of either. The flavor didn’t quite match the description. Overall, worth a visit for the goose, but the char siu might not live up to expectations."
"This roast meet restaurant was our favourite amongst many. The goose was so flavourful and succulent. The soy chicken was juicy and delicious. I was highly recommend this place for eating."
"Ah! The long awaited Hong Kong Roasted Goose!! This restaurant, within a short walking distance from my hotel, was supposed to be one of the top rated Roasted Goose places on the Kowloon side. We ordered half a bird so that we could try out both the upper and lower cuts. Sadly the overall experience was a bit anticlimactic ... .may be the result of over-anticipation? Yes! The skin of the bird was indeed crispy, the meat chewy and juicy. However, the seasoning/marinade was a bit bland and lacked complexity, falling short and underwhelming Time to spread my wings and give some other recommended places a try? However, on the other hand, the plate of stir fried Goose intestines with preserved pickled mustard greens and black bean sauce was absolutely awesome!! Nothing remotely like that in Toronto!"
"The goose skin is crispy and fragrant with a hint of tangerine peel flavor, while the meat stays juicy and tender. Char siu and roast pork are equally dependable. Milk tea tastes balanced and classic. The space gets bustling but maintains a lively, local vibe. Prices around HK$70‑150 per rice set are fair for the area. Service is efficient, though table turnover is fast. If you come early or avoid goose leg dishes, you’ll have a reliably tasty meal."
"The goose had a decent amount of meat and fat, and nice crispy skin. But the roast pork belly was even better with a good balance of fat with lean meat and very flavourful crispy skin. Also very generous portions for the price (69 HKD). Came with choice of free coffee or tea."
